I just have to mention a couple of things here that I really enjoy about Korea...
1) I have a student named Typhoon (태풍). Best name ever!
2) Lunch was hot dog and spam soup. Only in Korea (okay, maybe America too...) could this be considered a viable and nutritious lunch. (They throw a bunch of other stuff in it too. It's actually called "Army soup" and is a leftover from Korean War days when the American presence was strong and people ate whatever they could get their hands on. Mine had spam, hot dogs, tofu, cabbage, ddeok (rice cake), and spices.)
3) We don't have janitors. Instead, the students have to stay after school and clean up.
